Tonight, to me, is what I like to call an active rest day. The main slates are four and five games. It is a nice rest from the usual 10+ game main slates. However, with a smaller schedule, the room for error is slim! Hate to use the word perfect but we must be dang near perfect tonight! That is where I come in! Not saying I am perfect, but I intend to put you in the position to be perfect!

Today’s overall baseball schedule gives us 14 games! FanDuel’s Main slate is 5 games, and the first pitch is at 6:40p. DraftKings Main is also 5 games and locks at 6:40p. While Yahoo! main is only 4 games and locks at 7:05p. Let’s dig into some of my favorite plays for July 26th, shall we?
NYM vs. NYY 7:10p OF Mark Canha(FD-$2,300)(DK-$3,500)(Y!-$12)
Mark Canha is boring, but I love that. More shares for me! Mark heads into Wednesday’s edition of the Subway Series with a .294 average, .804 OPS, and .361 wOBA against right-handed pitchers. Also, his line-drive rate has been boosted a tad to 24.2%. Yankee pitcher Domingo German was absolutely wailed on in his season debut last week. Also, Mark Canha own Domingo! In ten career meetings, Canha has hit a .667 average! Wowza! Per the ROF Study Hub, Mark’s rating on all formats is a beautiful 66.6! Mark my words here, Mark will smack a homerun and even an extra-base hit!
TOR vs. STL 7:07p OF George Springer(FD-$3,800)(DK-$5,500)(Y!-$15)
Springer might just be my favorite play of the night. When we dig into the Rise or Fall Study Hub, it just begging us to roster Springer. Shoot, along with all the starting Blue Jay’s tonight. If you did not know Paul Goldschmidt and Nolan Arenado are not making the trip due to non-compliance with COVID restrictions. Springers rating on both formats is a beautiful 71.51. While his projection tier on FD and DK is an A+. No-brainer plays tonight with George. Who, if I may say, should hit a leadoff bomb!
CLE at BOS 7:10p OF Franmil Reyes(FD-$2,300)(DK-$3,300)(Y!-$11)
Boston pitcher Nate Eovaldi had a game last time out between these two teams. I am not looking at Franmil as a charity case, but he does have a career-high 12.1-degree launch angle, and both his 16.2%-barrel rate and 52.1% hard-hit rate suggest he’s had a bad run of luck. I am certain that changes tonight. Much Like Springer above the Rise or Fall Study Hub is just begging us to play Reyes. His metrics are as green as it gets tonight. From his rating of 58.98 to his A+ projection tier and value tier across the board. The only issue to contend with right now is his 12.6% ownership on FD and 12.8% on DK. Regardless, I do not care. Lock and load Reyes as he goes yard in Fenway this evening.
MIA @ CIN OF 6:40p OF JJ Bleday(FD-$2,200)(DK-$2,100)(Y!-$14)
Sometimes this DFS thing is just a gut feeling. Or we spin a wheel and wherever it lands. That is my rationale with JJ tonight. Personally speaking, I am into MiLB prospects, and I follow them closely and I also collect their ball cards and rookie autos. JJ has fast become one of my favorite kids to follow. Bleday has gone deep 20 times in Triple-A before his promotion along with 52 RBI and 54 runs scored and has also hit .228. He has only played in 4 total games in the big leagues. Scored two runs and stole a base. Tonight is the night he hits his first professional homerun! Tough spot against Luis Castillo but that’s what makes it beautiful!

NYM vs. NYY 7:10p OF Brandon Nimmo(FD-$2,900)(DK-$4,600)(Y!-$17)
Nimmo is Nimmo. Is gone through hot stretches and ice-cold ones. Such is life for a pro ball player. Not to be lazy but everything I said about Canha at the opening kind of goes for Nimmo. Now is the time to get to Domingo. Once he finds his form and starts dealing it’s going to be handed off to the opposing batters. However, the Mets will find success tonight and as Nimmo leads off he starts the party! Looking at the ROF Study Hub his ownership percentages are gorgeous all under 5% on both sites. Stack up the Mets or not but do not fade Nimmo or Canha tonight!
